My name is Chylea and I'm located in Cave Springs, AR, but travel the NWA region and SW Missouri region as well. My family and I recently moved to NWA in June, and I'm so excited to start building my client base down here.
I specialize in maternity, newborns, babies, toddlers, and kiddos. What got me into photography was, I was one of those mom-tographers, that absolutely fell in love with the art of photography. From a little girl, I knew that I wanted to work with babies/kiddos, but I wasn't quite smart enough to be a nurse. haha.
So, in February of 2011, my husband and I had to deliver our stillborn daughter. Our first baby..rough right? Anyways, during our hospital stay, we decided to go through with the NILMDTS program pictures, and we fell in love with them. It was the only thing that we have, besides our memories, of our daughter. So after that, I decided I want to try to get in with that program and give that gift to moms that went through the same pain like myself. After contemplating constantly about if I could handle being in that situation again, I decided I couldn't, and moved towards newborn photography so that I could give moms the memories of their babies being soooo little. I mean, they grow so quickly right?
Sessions with me are typically chill, but I am an open book and very expressive when I'm talking to someone I'm comfortable with. I'm a total introvert and have to push myself to be out there for my clients, and I love my clients for that. I love to get my clients playing when we are doing outdoor family sessions, and even when we are in the studio. I love the art of lifestyle photography and the emotion in them. I definitely don't like to pose my clients and want their natural reactions.
I am definitely a dark and moody photographer, and not light and airy. However, if you prefer and light and airy photographer, let me know and I can give over their information. :)
Anyways, if you have any questions or would like to schedule for your maternity, newborn, or family session.. feel free to message me and I'll be glad to help.
